What are you really trying to say?

This is much more difficult than it seems. Try to sum up your entire book in one sentence. This isn't your title. It's not even your summary. It's the one point you want to make. It's your thesis statement. It's what you want your reader walking away with.

Examples:
My dreams are too big for this town.
Writing saved my life.
I found my voice in Seattle.
I hate school.
I want to leave Mango Street. (The House on Mango Street.)
I want a job that makes me feel alive. (Watching the Clock.)
Football is where I found myself.
